July 21,2020 Pony Express RV Park; Salt Lake City

We covered around 360 miles today from Winnemucca to Salt Lake City. A long boring drive so not much to say!
This park is large and a good overnight stay; a bit spendy but that is because it is right next to Salt Lake City.
The dogs are doing well! They are such good travelers; they pretty much just snooze the whole way.
I-80 is a straight stretch across the US to Illinois. As such, most of the available RV stops are utilitarian. Both of these sites though have been exceptionally clean and well managed. Pony Express is really packed. We aren't exactly on top of each other but as close to that as you can be.
There are some that stay longer, given their site set-up and their plates (Utah). There isn't that feel of long term residents though.
It looks like we might have some thunder storms today. It has been hot. We travel 300 miles today.
On to Rawlings, Wyoming today!
